About Us
Unique Marketing Solutions was launched in 2004 when I realised that there was a gap in the market for a professional, creative marketing company that was affordable and accessible to small and medium sized businesses. In the past four years the company has grown to include a team of eight associates who make up Unique Marketing Solution's marketing department. Each of our associates specialise in a specific service and provide a dedicated support service to our clients ensuring positive results.
After only six months of trading I was very lucky to be offered the opportunity to do a documentary with Channel 4 about young entrepreneurs. We did three months of filming which was quite an experience. Watching it later on that year was like watching your life flash before you. I still regularly have people contact me about the programme and it's really increased brand awareness of Unique Marketing Solutions. Overall a great experience.
I originally started the company in Fife and have since moved to Edinburgh. We now work with companies in Edinburgh, Fife, Glasgow, Stirling and Dundee. One of the things that I really enjoy about the work we do is the variety. We work with many business to business companies including IT, financial services, law and HR. We also work with business to customer companies including luxury gift markets, artists, photographers and authors.
My real passion is seeing other businesses succeed. I believe that if more businesses had access to professional marketing advice more would succeed. Consequently, we offer a bespoke package to new start companies and have a unique business model that makes our services affordable and accessible.
As a company we continue to grow and are looking to do more work in the public sector and manufacturing industry.
