The Children's Weight Clinic

Unique Marketing Solutions started working with Dr. Stewart at the Children's Weight Clinic in 2005. Our first task was to create and produce marketing materials for the new clinic and establish their brand. Once this was completed UMS produced an effective, results driven marketing plan which was then implemented by the UMS team. Since that time the following achievements have been made: –

  • Regular press articles including features in national newspapers which resulted in an increase in sales and brand awareness.
  • Dr. Stewart has been offered two key television roles through UMS PR work.
  • Regular radio interviews all of which has resulted in Dr. Stewart being positioned as an expert on Child Health Care within the media on a national level.
  • A close working relationship with Slimming World UK which has placed the clinic in front of their target market all over the UK and involved in Slimming World events.
  • A joint reception at the Scottish parliament with Slimming World this summer in order to meet key party leaders.
  • Made and established relationships with key organisations in Scotland increasing the brand awareness of the clinic and its founder Dr. Stewart.
  • UMS designed and produced the clinic's website which has lead to an increase of enquiries and business from the website.

UMS created a marketing strategy for thesmallbusinessclub with the aim of increasing membership sales. One of the key break-through moments was in identifying the different types of thesmallbusinessclub members and their needs. The result was new meeting scripts that clearly communicated the member benefits and thesmallbusinessclub's key messages. The Environment Exchange (t2e)

The initial brief was to create desire within potential t2e customers who although had an interest in t2e's services did not always buy from them. UMS carried out a market research project that identified the core needs of the customers and the benefits t2e offered that were of interest to the customers. This resulted in a very successful re-branding exercise, project managed by UMS, which was launched at their annual exhibition in 2008. This then lead to a re-evaluation of their sales processes and website all of which has resulted in t2e increasing the effectiveness of their marketing and sales.

Dave Hunt Photography

When UMS started to work with Dave Hunt he had a variety of services on offer and was unsure how to move the business and their marketing forward. UMS established which parts of the business he wanted to grow and found that he had a passion for portrait photography but was unsure how to develop this side of the business. Having established a marketing strategy that focused on core services UMS worked with Dave to implement them. These has resulted in Dave achieving regular work in the areas of photography that he is most passionate about as well as breaking in to new markets.
